Last night, The Intergenerational Schools’ Boards of Directors approved the baseline 2020 – 2021 Boundless Learning School Reopening Plan. Developed with the feedback of families, teachers, administrators and community volunteers; we believe this plan will allow our schools to deepen relationships and provide an engaging educational experience for our students.

School is Where Students Learn

Boundless Learning will allow and prepare students to attend school no matter where they are physically located. This year, our students will learn primarily on technology platforms. For our youngest students, we will be using SeeSaw. Our older students we will be using Google Classroom. In these online environments, students will engage in live small group and one-to-one lessons, recorded lessons, and independent practice. Lessons will be delivered and recorded by licensed Intergenerational School teachers. Also, students will receive school supplies, consumable books, and a Chromebook computer to use in the buildings or remotely.

Students to Learn Remotely During the First Six Weeks

School will begin on September 8th with all students learning remotely for the first 6 weeks of school. Starting remotely will give our students the opportunity to become comfortable using the online learning platforms while the county remains at Level 3 or 4 on the Ohio Public Health Advisory System. After six weeks, the decision to shift to having some students learn in the building will be largely based on the county being at a Level 1 or 2. This remote start is an important step in helping our teachers and students remain safe healthy.

20 Years of Providing High-Quality Education

In this ever changing landscape, the constant we want our families, staff, and community to know is that we are 100% committed to providing the same innovative high-quality education we have delivered for 20 years. Our students deserve to learn in a community that sees ever single student as an individual with their own potential for joyful learning.

Welcome to a year of Boundless Learning!
