Friends of the Intergenerational Schools Welcomes Five New Board Members

Jejuana C. Brown is an equity and inclusion professional with a passion for coaching, convening and philanthropy. As the Director of Equity & Inclusion Programs at Greater Cleveland Partnership (GCP), she is responsible for cultivating engaging and forward-thinking programming focused on race equity and workplace culture. Prior to joining GCP, Jejuana managed strategic projects and relationships for several departments at Cleveland State University where she also earned a Master of Education in Adult Learning and Development and a graduate certificate in diversity management. Jejuana also serves on the board of trustees and is chair of the governance committee for the Journey Center for Safety & Healing.
Jason L. Carter is Executive Director & Deputy General Counsel, Cuyahoga Community College. He is an experienced litigator whose career has included founding CARTERLAW, LCC and serving as Assistant County Prosecutor in the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office and Prosecutor/Assistant Law Director for the City of Euclid.
Cena Hillard serves as the Associate Dean of Finance, Administration and Business Operations for the Case Western University School of Engineering. Cena works closely with all levels of the Case Western Reserve University administration and Case School of Engineering stakeholders to advance the strategic and financial priorities of the engineering school and provides support for all areas of non-academic operations.
Bob Nicolay has 30+ years of leadership experience in general management, primarily in financial services, ranging across Fortune 500 companies, early stage/small to mid-sized privately held companies and non-profit organizations. Bob helps business owners develop and execute effective strategies and plans for getting started or improving growth and profit performance.
Waverly Willis is the owner of Urban Kutz Barbershop which continues to be ranked as the best barbershop in Cleveland. Waverly is also the founder and executive director of The Urban Barber Association (TUBA) which is a network of barbershops and salons that use their businesses as a vehicle to collectively do different programs to enlighten and empower the community. As the chairman of the Ohio Barber and Beauty Alliance, Waverly is dedicated to preserving and defending the distinguished history and rights of barber and beauty professionals. Waverly is a champion for all things Cleveland.
