Meet Mrs. Miracle

Kristin Miracle has been in education for over 20 years and helped open Lakeshore Intergenerational School in 2014. Before that, she taught at TIS-East. Mrs. Miracle is Assistant Principal at Lakeshore! Mrs. Miracle graduated from Ohio Northern University.

What drew you to working education?

I have always wanted to be a teacher!

What is your favorite thing about our school?

The relationships we build on a daily basis.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself!

I was a competitive baton twirler, and I currently coach competitive baton twirling.

Meet Ms. Lee

Ms. Lee has been apart of the Near West team for seven years as an Administrative Assistant. Ms. Lee graduated from Cleveland State University.

What drew you to working education?

I enjoy to see the wonder in kids eyes when they learn and discover new things.

What is your favorite thing about our school?

I love the family feeling and teamwork.

Meet Ms. Millard

Megan Millard is new to the TIS-East Community as a Developing Stage teacher. While this is her first year at TIS-East, she has been teaching for five years. Ms. Millard is a graduate of Hiram College.

What drew you to working education?

The students! Being around amazing young people and learning from them is such a gift! They remind me that we never stop learning!

What is your favorite thing about our school?

I love the community aspect! Community is in the foundation of our school and it truly shows.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself!

I'm an avid reader, and I have already finished 51 books in 2020 as of October 22. Also, I have a four year old daughter named Imogen, and she is the light of my world.
